Collection of data

When you visit this website, general information is collected automatically by our provider – that is, not through any registration – and is not used in a personally identifiable way. The web servers used store by default:

• the name of your internet service provider
• the website from which you visit us
• the pages you visit on our site
• your IP address
• browser information such as the version number of the browser

This information is evaluated anonymously. It is used exclusively to improve the appeal, content and functionality of our website. We do not pass this data on to external service providers.

Collection and processing of personal data

Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us yourself, for example by filling in the contact form, by sending emails, when ordering products or services, when making enquiries or when requesting material.

The data and its content remain with our company and our provider. Your personal data is not made available to third parties in any form by us or by persons acting on our behalf. We will use the personal data you provide only in order to meet our contractual obligations towards you.

Contact form

You can send us your enquiry using the contact form on this website. The following details are processed: first name, last name, email address, and optionally phone number, company, street and town, together with your message. In addition we store the time of submission, the chosen language, your IP address and your browser identification. These technical details serve traceability and protection against misuse of the form.

Your details are stored in a database on the web server of this website and are also sent to us by email. You will receive a confirmation of your enquiry by email at the address you provided.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give when submitting the form, and Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR insofar as your enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future; an informal message to the email address given above is sufficient.

We use your details exclusively to handle your enquiry and do not pass them on to third parties. The data is deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention periods apply.

Retention of data

We store personal data for as long as is necessary to perform a service you have requested or to which you have given your consent, unless other statutory obligations apply, such as retention periods under commercial and tax law.

Security

STOTZ-Software uses technical and organisational security measures to protect the data you provide against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. Where personal data is collected and processed, the information is transmitted in encrypted form in order to prevent misuse of the data by third parties. Our protective measures are continuously revised in line with technological developments.

Cookies and language choice

On this website we use cookies only where this is necessary for an application or a service we provide. No cookies are used for advertising or analysis purposes.

When you switch the language of the website, your choice is stored in a strictly necessary cookie so that the site appears in the same language on your next visit. The cookie contains only the language code (“de” or “en”) and expires after 180 days. As long as you make no choice, the language is suggested based on your browser setting; no cookie is set in that case.

Fonts, images and videos on this website are loaded exclusively from our own web server. No external services such as font libraries, map services, video portals or analysis tools are embedded. The website does not access your camera or microphone.

Right of access and rectification

You have the right to obtain information about all personal data stored about you, to check it and, where appropriate, to have it corrected or deleted. An email to the address given in the legal notice is sufficient. Deletion cannot take place if we are legally obliged to retain your personal data (for example for accounting purposes).

You also have the right to restriction of processing, to data portability and to object to processing. In addition you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
